Barre’s unique and classic guitar sound has been cited as one of the major factors in the success and longevity of Jethro Tull, with his guitar work on “Aqualung” voted as one of the top 20 guitar solos of all time. Recently, Barre has put together a band equal to the task of performing music from the Tull catalogue, as well as new tracks written for the band. Classic albums of the 70s, including Aqualung, Thick as a Brick and A Passion Play; and timeless songs such as “Thick as a Brick”, “Minstrel in the Gallery”, “Teacher” and “Locomotive Breath” come to life in the hands of the original and master guitarist, Martin Barre.
