ARTS FOR YOUTH
EDUCATION THROUGH THE ARTS
The Lancaster Performing Arts Center’s Arts for Youth program provides 15,000 local Antelope Valley students with the opportunity to attend educational, dynamic, exciting, inspirational and fun performances, exposing our youth to the performing arts, many for the very first time. The impression that these performances make on students can last a lifetime and often lead to a career in the arts. These shows are specially discounted to remain affordable to students and educators. The performances align with Common Core State Standards and provide an opportunity for educators to integrate the arts into their curriculum and lesson plans, while providing an enjoyable, high-quality learning experience for students of all ages.
